35th National Games Kerala 2012 Schedule, Dates, Venues
81University Stadium at Thiruvananthapuram will be the main venue of the 35th National Games 2012.
In Closing ceremony of National Games , the Flag was be handed over to the next hosting state Kerala.
In 2012 the 35th National Games will be hosted by Kerala.
The Indian Olympic Association’s Flag arrived at Kerala and send was send to Trivandrum .
Kerala's Asian Games Winner Preeja Sreedharan and other athletes took the Flag at the University Stadium and gave it to Sports Minister M.Vijayakumar who handed over it to Kerala Chief Minister V.S Achuthanandan.
This ceremony was held at University Stadium in Trivandrum.
Many renovations are done at the University Stadium to conduct the National Games.
Kerala Government started the "Go for Gold" programme with the aim of winning Gold medals in 2016 Olympics.
The 35th National Games was scheduled to be held in Kerala state at various venues in places like Trivandrum, Kollam, Alleppey, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Kozhikode, Kannur.
The dates of the National games in Kerala is not yet fixed.
It is known that the 35th National Games will be conducted in the year 2012.
The Opening and Closing Ceremony of 2012 Kerala National Games (XXXV) will be held at the venue University Stadium at Trivandrum.
At the Jharkhand National games Closing ceremony, Kerala presented a show which was directed by Shyama Prasad who is a Director.
The show will include programs like Kathakali, Kalaripayattu, Mohiniyattam, Pancharimelam, Panchavadyam.
The 34th National Games Jharkhand was inaugurated at Birsa Munda Athletics Stadium.
The event was held from 2011 February 12 to 26 at various venues in Jharkhand.
