'Maha Samadhi' Sathya Sai Baba Buried at Prasanthi Nilayam on Wednesday 27 April 2011

Sri Sathya Sai Baba was buried in the main hall 'Sai Kulvant Hall' at the Prasanti Nilayam located in Puttaparthi village.

On 27 April 2011, Sathya Sai Baba's burial ceremony began with the Ganapathi Homama at 7.30 am and later the reciting of Hindu rites started from morning 9 to 9.30.

The rituals of burial were done by 16 Poojaris (Priests) who are from Godavari.

The burial 'Samadhi' was done on 10.30 am at the Sai Kulvant Hall. The burial place of Sathya Sai Baba is where he used to sit for talking and giving blessings to his devotees.

The burial ceremony lasted 3 hours long.

The burial place will be covered with soil for 11 days and special rituals conducted in these days.

Devotees will be allowed to visit this burial place from Wednesday 27 April Noon to 29 April.

Later a Monument (Smrithi Mandapam) will be build here like that of Shirdi Sai Samadhi.

About 1500 invited guests of VVIP's, close relatives and Trust members was allowed to view the last rituals and burial ceremony.

The burial ground was 9 feet deep and 6 feet long and 3 feet wide.

Grains, Navarathnas, water and soil from holy rivers like Ganga, Kaveri, Krishna, Godavari, Saraswathi was used for doing the Sathya Sai Baba Samadhi.

On 27 April 2011 Wednesday the Burial of dead body of Satya Sai Baba will be conducted at the Sri Kulwant Hall in Prasanthi Nilayam near to Baba's Yajur Mandir residence.

It is considered that Sathya Sai Baba had entered into 'Maha Samadhi' on 24th April.

His body was kept for public viewing from 24th April 3 pm to 26th Tuesday 6 pm at the Sri Kulwant Hall in Prasanthi Nilayam Ashram.

On Wednesday 27th April burial ceremony of the great Hindu Holy God 'Sathya Sai Baba' will conducted at the Prasanthi Nilayam Ashram hall itself and the Andhra Pradesh government will do it with all State honours.

The Andhra Government has also asked for 4 days mourning over the death of Sathya Sai Baba.

24 April 2011 - Sathya Sai Baba of Puttaparthi Died at 7.30 am in the hospital.

On Easter day this sad news have come out to people all over the world.

Even though the death of Sathya Sai Baba happened at morning, the news was given to the media only by 10.00 am.

Jesus Christ Resurrection is celebrated as Easter allover the world, and Sai Baba left us on the same day.

People have started discussing the connection between Sai Baba's death and Easter.

On 21 April 2011 as per Medical bulletin issued by the hospital, the condition of Sathya Sai Baba is very serious and he is fighting death.

Devotees at Puttaparthi and in other places are praying for his recovery.

Security has been tightened at Puttaparathi, Anantapur to prevent any outbreak by his followers.

Sathya Sai Baba is now in ventilator and there is lesser chances for his survival.

Sathya Sai Baba's death would be an unacceptable fact to his followers, who might react violently.

Till 20th April, the condition of Sathya Sai Baba was still continuing like that , even though the jaundice found in liver has been treated successfully.

Sathya Sai Central Trust has said few days back that Sathya Sai Baba will be taken to home, but this was said without consultation with doctors.

The hospital authorities have said that more days of treatment is required before anything can be said.

The devotees are anxiously waiting and praying for his recovery.

Satya Saibaba is presently 85 years old.

On March 28 due to illness Satya Saibaba was admitted to a hospital at Prashantigram in Puttaparthi.

He is suffering from breathing problem and is put on ventilator due to critical stage.

There is problem to Satya Saibaba's kidneys and lungs.

The doctors who are doing treatment are from Sri Satya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences.

His condition is not improving because the body is not responding to treatment.

Thousands of followers of Sathya Saibaba are praying for his recovery and waiting outside the hospital.

Puttaparthi is being crowded by thousands of devotees who believe that Sathya Saibaba is a true resemblance of God in human form.

Satya Saibaba has many charitable institutions that operate for the well being of poor and suffering people.

Sathya Sai Baba was born at Puttaparthi which is a village in Andhra Pradesh.

Sathya Sai Baba was born on 23rd November 1926.

He is believed to be the rebirth of God.

Sathya Sai Baba has done many miracles and is seen to bring ash, rings .etc from no where.

He claims that he is the rebirth of Sai Baba of Shirdi.

He has also predicted that he will die and reborn as Prema Sai Baba in the year 2023 at Karnataka.
